NetWorx provides another way to show the current transfer rate in real time without sacrificing the taskbar space, which is precious for users who always open a lot of windows at the same time. If there is text saying “NetWorx is not running”, it means that you have to run NetWorx for the graph to function. After the installation, right click on the taskbar, select Toolbars, and click “NetWorx Desk Band” to activate the graph. This is the option that allows you to show the animated graph in the taskbar. The portable version doesn’t have it.ĭuring the installation of Networx, you have to make sure that “Taskbar Integration” is ticked off. A mouse hover on it displays the current transfer rate, a single right-click brings up the context menu, while a double-click opens up a window where you can see the usage reports. As long as Networx is still in use, it sits in the notification area.
